Help
Quick answers.
Short, plain-English answers to the questions we hear most. No jargon, no wall of text.
What is an SLA?+
It stands for Service Level Agreement — in plain terms, how quickly each step of your sale or purchase should get done. Everyone on your matter pledges one when they sign the Charter.
What is AML / ID verification?+
AML stands for Anti-Money Laundering. Before work can start, we verify who everyone is and where the money is coming from — it's a legal requirement on every property transaction, not just yours.
What happens on completion day?+
Completion is moving day — the money changes hands, legal ownership transfers, and you get the keys. It's the final step after exchange of contracts.
Who owns my transaction data?+
You do. Your matter's data belongs to you and the other parties on it (your solicitor, agent, buyer or seller) — Conveyly simply hosts a shared, secure timeline so everyone sees the same thing.
How do I report a problem?+
Use the "Report a problem" form below (or in the footer). Tell us what's wrong and, if it helps, your matter reference — reports go straight to our support team at admin@conveyly.uk.
How do I contact you?+
Email admin@conveyly.uk any time. For anything urgent about your specific matter, contact your solicitor directly — they can act on it fastest.
Why does my sale take weeks?+
Searches, mortgage offers and legal checks each take time and often depend on other people in your chain. Conveyly's target is 8 weeks — well under the 12–16 week industry average.
What do I need to do right now?+
Open your matter and check the "Next action" card on the Overview tab — it always shows the one thing waiting on you or another party.
